What customers say?

“ I really don't get why this place has so many negative reviews. A very cute spot, perfect for a breakfast, coffee or lunch. and way less crowded than other places in Masca. ”

- Kuba Kuliński -

“ We hike to Masca twice a year but haven't stopped for lunch until today although we've had pastries from here before. We had the set menu and the food was authentic and delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly, and we were very happy to support the family running this place. Such a bargain too! We also took some pastries to eat later on and they were delicious, it's a shame you can't find this kind of authentic food along the south coast. I don't understand the negative reviews, if it was my business I wouldn't want people thinking it was a public toilet either! Imagine people just coming in to use the loo and resenting supporting your business in any way. We visit Tenerife twice a year and will definitely stop here again for lunch. ”

- Noel Williams -

“ Nice staff, possibly owners, coffee nice, cakes and treats ”

- Mark J -

“ We ran into this restaurant as it started raining and decided to stay for food. Everything was delicious and prices were very good too. Grilled goats cheese and Canarian soup were so good. They serve cactus juice and cactus ice-cream, we didn't see these anywhere else. Service was friendly. There is a stand at the end of the restaurant where they sell souvenirs, local drinks, jams and sauces. ”

- Aura -

“ I didn’t have any bad experience, service was nice, cappuccino also ok,price was ok. On very nice place, possibility to sit outside while I was waiting on bus . ”

- Sarah -

“ It was rainy in Masca so I came here to hide from the rain without ordering anything (some other people did the same) and the owners were okay with it. The toilets are locked. You either have to be a customer or pay 1€ to use them. While waiting for the rain to stop, I decided to get a barraquito for 2€, which is fairly cheap as the price could double in Los Cristianos. Used the toilet as well. So not a bad purchase lol. Ps. CASH ONLY! ”

- T Carrie -

“ Sad to see so many bad reviews! It is a family, three generation restaurant, so you can imagine they are not really concerned about top notch customer service. The food is really good and home made - for 12 eur you get soup, main dish, drink and desert. So if you are looking for an authentic food- this is where you go ”

- Dajana B -

“ Had cactus ice cream, coconut pie and a tart... all of them were delicious! Regardless of the negative comments, I had a good experience here and the old people working there were kind. ”
